Aluvia Photonics expands leadership team and opens first office at the High Tech Factory on the University of Twente campus

Steve is a passionate, driven, and ambitious entrepreneur and technologist with nearly 20 years of experience in the high-tech, deep-tech, and medtech sectors. He brings a wealth of experience in transitioning early-stage technology platforms from the lab to industrial production-ready environments, along with extensive leadership experience in founding and scaling technology-driven companies.
In tandem with this significant leadership milestone, Aluvia Photonics is excited to announce the opening of its first office at the High Tech Factory on the University of Twente campus. This strategic location places Aluvia Photonics at the heart of one of Europe’s leading innovation hubs for photonic integrated circuit development, fostering collaboration with top-tier academic and industrial partners.
Aluvia Photonics provides state-of-the-art foundry services, enabling the development and production of advanced PICs that leverage the unique properties of aluminium oxide. These PICs are set to transform industries such as telecommunications, healthcare, and data centres by offering superior performance, enhanced durability, and unprecedented integration capabilities.
The company also welcomes Michiel de Goede as Principal Engineer.
