Solution
The development of a hybrid photonic integration, one that combines low-loss SiN (Silicon Nitride) with high-power InP (Indium Phosphide) and LNOI (lithium niobate on insulator), will facilitate compact optical beam formers, ultra-low-noise oscillators, and photonic switches.
6G will demand performance levels that electronics alone cannot deliver. By combining advanced photonic integration platforms, we are building the foundation for Europe’s future wireless and radar systems.
