Future of Compute Innovation Mission to the United Kingdom
10.11 - 13.11.2025Date: 10–13 November 2025
Location: London and surrounding area, United Kingdom
Organised by: Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), Innovation Attaché Network London
Supported by: Topsector ICT, Topsector HTSM, AIC4NL, PhotonDelta, High Tech NL
The Future of Compute Innovation Mission to the United Kingdom brings together Dutch and UK innovators to explore opportunities for collaboration in energy-efficient computing. The mission focuses on three technology tracks: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Integrated Photonics, and Neuromorphic Computing.
This programme offers both sector-specific and cross-disciplinary components to promote shared insights and encourage integrated technological advancements across the full future-of-compute value chain.
Purpose
As computing demands increase—driven by the expansion of AI, embedded systems, and edge applications—the need for low-power, high-performance computing solutions is more critical than ever. This innovation mission aims to accelerate cross-border collaboration in emerging technologies and contribute to sustainable computing innovation.
Participants will gain access to UK counterparts, explore joint R&D and business opportunities, and potentially contribute to broader European initiatives such as Horizon Europe and Eureka.
Key Themes
- Energy-efficient computing across AI, photonics, and neuromorphic systems
- Hardware-software co-design and cross-disciplinary integration
- Applications in embedded, scalable, and real-time environments
- Knowledge exchange on technology roadmaps, policy, and innovation strategy
- Exploration of demonstrators and use cases with industrial relevance
Who It’s For
