  • Availability to work between 32 and 40 hours per week.

Wait… what actually is integrated photonics?

Glad you asked (!).

Photonic technology detects, generates, transports and processes light. Current uses include lasers, sensors, and fiber-optic networks.

Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) combine two or more photonic functions into a single chip to create new, faster, and more energy efficient devices. PICs are highly effective at processing and transmitting data. They can also be integrated alongside traditional electronic chips.

Who is PhotonDelta?

PhotonDelta was created by mandate of the Dutch government in December 2018 to accelerate the emerging Dutch integrated photonics industry. It was granted €240 million to execute the national plan for photonics.

In May 2022, PhotonDelta’s proposal for the Dutch national growth fund was successfully awarded €1.1 billion. These funds are designated for the expansion of the ecosystem, industrialized production, and the development of application technology.

What we do:

  • We’re building an ecosystem of organizations which design, develop and manufacture world-class innovative solutions based on integrated photonic technology.
  • We actively support our partners with coaching, funding, and market access.
  • We promote the uptake of photonic integrated chips worldwide, across a range of industries as well as the academic world.

We’re interested in anyone who has…

  • An undergraduate degree or higher in marketing, events management, or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience within an international organization.
  • Exceptional writing skills in English.

Benefits:

  • A key role in a small, dynamic organization which is making a big global impact.
  • Personalized professional development through training and workshops.
