Market RESEARCH analyst

13th of July 2021

PhotonDelta Foundation is looking for a Market Research Analyst to help accelerate the integrated photonics industry in the Netherlands.

Are you someone that is curious about the latest technology and wants to make an impact on the world we live in? PhotonDelta is looking for a market research analist to help boost the emerging industry of photonic integrated circuits (PICs): a groundbreaking technology that pushes the boundaries of digital innovation.

Why does the world need photonic chips?

The way we live, work, and relate to one another is profoundly changing, requiring us to rebalance demands for better lifestyles with the world’s limited resources. From ecological agriculture that can feed the growing world population to the advanced health monitoring systems enabling continuum of care, all backed by a growing appetite for data within our 24/7 connected lives. Addressing fundamental societal changes requires radically different systems than those we are using today.

Photonic Integrated Chips is a key enabling technology that is revolutionizing a wide range of industries. By using light instead of electricity, photonic integrated circuits can sense, capture, process and transmit data in a cheaper, faster, lighter, greener, more robust and reliable way.

Who is PhotonDelta?

As a pioneer in the manipulation of light and with a bright history of innovation, the Netherlands is at the forefront of the integrated photonics industry. PhotonDelta was created by mandate of the Dutch government in December 2018 to accelerate the emerging Dutch integrated photonics industry and was granted € 240 million to execute the national plan for photonics.

In order to accelerate this industry, PhotonDelta established an ecosystem of organizations that is able to design, develop and manufacture world-class innovative solutions based on integrated photonic technology. PhotonDelta actively supports its partners with coaching, funding and connecting them to industry. We also promote the adoption of photonic integrated chips worldwide, engaging with a variety of industries and stimulate collaboration with the academic world and similar photonics ecosystems around the world. PhotonDelta also actively connects with public authorities such as the Dutch government or the European Union.
